Collagraph and Experimental Printmaking August 28th - 30th

August 28-30th. Broadland Arts Centre, Dilham

We have extended this popular course to three days this year. We hope that this will allow beginners to this fascinating area of printmaking to absorb all the techniques more thoroughly and to have time to benefit from their learning straight away. Also we believe that the extra day will allow those who have been on one of the earlier courses to attempt larger, more ambitious plates and projects.

Monoprinting and Mixed Media March 27th - 28th

March 27-28th at Broadland Arts Centre, Dilham. (see links)

This course will concentrate on using simple silk screen and the etching press to create rich multi-layered images. We shall also look at how these and classic “glass plate” methods may be combined with traditional drawings to make mixed media images of greater richness.

Experimental Printmaking at Salthouse is now full, but there are still a few places on the Collagraph Printmaking at Broadland Arts Centre in September which will have a similar content.

Collagraph and Experimental Printmaking Weekend. September 26/27th 2009

Following our two very successful collagraph weekends at Broadland Arts Centre, Dilham in November we shall be offering a similar weekend again in this delightful residential setting. The weekend will be suitable for those hoping to extend their skills from the first courses in '08 and also for beginners to this fascinating branch of intaglio printmaking. http://www.broadlandartscentre.co.uk

RNLI Charity Exhibition

I have been invited to contribute work to this very worthwhile charity venture in a new setting for Art in North Norfolk.

Norwich 20 Group Autumn Show

Bally Shoe Factory, Hall Road, Norwich.

September 12th - 26th. 10:00 - 5:00.

A large show of contemporary painting, sculpture, installation, and print. Includes fascinating contributions from our twin cities of Rouen, and Novi-sad.

Norwich Printfair, 7th-19th September

After a years break I shall again be part of Norwich Printfair, St. Margarets Church, St Benedicts, Norwich.

7th - 19th September (inc Sunday 13th) 10:00 - 5:00.
This celebration of original printmaking celebrates its 13th year with 30+ printmakers in all mediums. On each Saturday all the artists will be present and showing lots of extra folio work to enhance the literally hundreds of framed works on the walls.
